The government was able to get the Westarctican colony of Calsahara added to Apple Maps as a campground. While not necessarily linked to Navārdia, Westarctica is an esteemed member of the the community of unrecognized nations, and a win for them is a win for Navārdia. The idea to submit Calsahara to Apple Maps came from government efforts to compile a list of micronation and their colonies. Among the ones in the compilation was the publicly accessible colony. As he read over the associated website, the Grand Duke realized that Calsahara qualifies as a campground according to Apple’s guidelines. He submitted it and waited, eventually forgetting about sending the suggestion at all. Then this Wednesday, a notification was received stating his submission was approved.
As of yet, plans to get more small nations’ claims onto maps applications haven’t been discussed. However, when the opportunity strikes, the government may very well add similar locations to Apple and Google alike.
