At 7:05PM CNT on Sunday, Navārdia gained its first citizen, High Council member and Chief of Military Operations. He has decided to stay anonymous and will hereafter next referred to as CMO1. This comes after an attempt by the Grand Duke to gain citizens en masse, which was by all accounts a total failure.
The Grand Duke's idea was to AirDrop some friends and acquaintances an informative document about Navārdia and hope they gain interest, all while at a highly populated event. Of the people that had AirDrop active, most declined and the ones that accepted never reciprocated interest. One more attempt may be made at a similar event, but after Sunday evening’s disappointment, it would not be surprising if it is never attempted again.
Later that night, however, one of the Grand Duke’s close friends assumed the position of Chief of Military Operations. CMO1 has been a known the Navārdian ruler since the first grade (in the US school system), and the two have been best friends ever since. It was not a huge surprise for him to become the first citizen of Navārdia. CMO1 lives far away from both the capital and Todge, somewhere in the neighboring United States. Being neither a resident nor a local, CMO1 is a flex citizen; he is also a “first” in this respect.
There are still two people suspected of joining the Grand Duchy sometime soon, though their true intent is obviously unknown. Meanwhile, the laptop crisis is still unsolved.
