Four Local Nations Discovered
The existence of up to four local micronations has been discovered by the government. The Kingdom of Ruritania, Star Kingdom and Free Nation of New Athens all operate in the general area of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. While the Star Kingdom and New Athens are enclaves of the United States, like Navārdia, the government of Ruritania is located at an embassy - technically, the kingdom is located in Europe.
The fourth nation is called Unicornia. It does not appear to have a web presence, but has been talked about by a few people in nearby Peachtree City. Not much is known about it, but the Grand Duke has been researching it. Unicornia appears to be a principality or kingdom with two or more citizens, including a monarch and a Prime Minister. The Navārdian government will continue to research the mysterious country and, if Unicornia is an active local nation like the government suspects, do everything in its power to help them thrive.
Foreign Recognition Archive Deleted
Navārdia’s troubles with technology continued this Thursday, when it was discovered that the only existing archive of nations recognized by the Navārdian government after the malfunction of the Grand Duke’s laptop was deleted. The list contained dozens of governments and countries that would have been added to the official foreign recognitions list after the laptop was fixed. However, it was apparently deleted during a routine file declutter on Tuesday. A new list will be created soon; the trashing of the original is a disappointment, but it will not be allowed to stop Navārdian progress.
CMO1 Kickstarts Armory, Economy, More
New citizen and Chief of Military “CMO1” has helped the nation greatly. Navārdia’s armory has grown exponentially under his influence, and the Grand Duke has been working closely with him to start the inspiration and eventual creation of PGĀ and the ducat currency. The first ducat coins are internally expected to be produced in 2020, while the first banknotes still have no projected release.
Halloween Season Spreads Joy, Excitement
October 31st is Halloween night, which means the holiday season is nigh and spirits are high. The Grand Duke is planning to give out candy to the locals and get some candy himself. A long-time friend of his will be in town, and the two of them will be doing a group costume. The theme of the costume is currently a secret, but all will be revealed in the October 2019 News Roundup! Until then, stay tuned...
